Treatments
Orthodontics for Every Age
From the initial consultation to the end of treatment – we guide you with modern methods and clear communication.
Braces for Children
The ideal time for a first orthodontic check-up is between the ages of 6 and 8. At this age, dental and jaw misalignments can be detected early and, if needed, treated gently. We take time to explain everything clearly – to both parents and children.
- Early detection of misalignments
- Patient, child-friendly care
- Clear explanations for parents and children
- Individual treatment planning

Braces for Teenagers
Adolescence is the most common time to begin orthodontic treatment. Whether fixed braces, removable appliances or clear aligners – we discuss together which solution best suits your lifestyle and needs.
- Fixed and removable braces
- Clear aligner options
- Designed to fit around school life
- Support throughout the entire treatment

Orthodontics for Adults
Orthodontic treatment is both possible and worthwhile in adulthood. Modern methods allow for subtle corrections that fit easily into a busy professional life.
- Discreet treatment methods
- Clear aligners
- Personalised consultation
- Flexible appointment scheduling

Clear Aligners – the Invisible Brace
Aligners are thin, transparent trays that move the teeth into the planned position step by step. You take them out to eat and brush, and they are hard to notice in conversation – for many adults, that is the reason they finally start treatment at all. Whether aligners are the right solution in your case depends on the misalignment. We clarify that at the first consultation with a digital scan, before you decide. Dr Steffi Koychev is experienced with Invisalign and Spark aligner systems, going back to 2016.
- Transparent trays instead of fixed braces
- Removable for eating and brushing
- Digital scan instead of impressions
- Experienced with Invisalign and Spark aligner systems since 2016
- Clear cost overview before treatment starts

Retainers – Keeping the Result
After active treatment, retainers hold the teeth in their new position. The usual options are a fixed wire behind the front teeth, a removable retainer for the night – or both. If a retainer comes loose, breaks or gets lost, it should be replaced promptly so the teeth do not drift back. Get in touch even if your original treatment was not done with us.
- Fixed and removable retainers
- Replacement for loose or broken retainers
- Check whether the teeth have stayed stable
- Short trip – an appointment in Hitzkirch instead of the city
